Calling for an Ambulance Dial 000 (Mobile 112)

For life threatening illness or accident, you may need to call an ambulance, for example:

  • suspected heart attack
  • severe chest pain
  • collapse
  • severe asthma/breathing difficulty
  • major accident
Dial 000 - and ask for an ambulance

The Call will be answered by the ambulance communications centre in Adelaide. They will ask you some questions such as:

  • your name
  • phone number
  • your location or location of the accident

Do not hang up until all details have been confirmed.
